Integra to render geophysical services abroad

Integra Group has won two international tenders for seismic operations in Mauritania (North-West Africa) and Azerbaijan
“Having won these two tenders,  the  Company has made a very significant step that will give Integra a foothold in the international oilfield service market and distinguish it as a reliable and strong partner”, said vice-president for geophysics of Integra Stanislav Antanaitis, commenting on the outcome of the tenders. Besides Integra, the list of bidders for seismic operations in Mauritania included BGP (China) that has already landed a major geophysical contract in the region. Geophysical surveys in the field will be conducted by specialists of  Tyumenneftegeofisika  JCS (TNGF) that is part of Integra Group.  Under the contract, the work will commence on 1 October of this year and will be completed on June 2007. Over this period, the TNGF specialists will perform seismic acquisition that will be followed by prospecting  drilling  in the area of 1070 km2 owned by IPG (International Petroleum Group). Integra was selected as the preferred tenderer for seismic surveys in Azerbaijan in May this year, but the operations under the contract will commence on 1 August 2006 and will be completed in November. Other bidders included some international companies, but the contract went to the Ryssian geophysicists. The surveys in Azerbaijan will be performed by TNGF specialists
