Integra at "Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan– 2008


On October 7 – 10 2008 Almaty, Kazakhstan, hosted the 16th Oil & Gas international exhibition and conference.

S.M. Mynbayev, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Republic of Kazakhstan, K.M. Kabyldin, President, KazMunaiGas, L.K. Kiinov, Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Republic of Kazakhstan, K.A. Bozumbayev, Chairman of the Board, Samruk Holding, T.A. Kulibayev, President, KazEnergy Association, A.S. Yessimov, Akim (Governor) of Almaty visited the exhibition booth of Integra Group.

More than 550 companies from 30 countries participated in the event.  The principal goal of the exhibition was to develop mutually beneficial cooperation between the companies operating in the power sector, as well as to share experience and information.

Today Kazakhstan has substantial hydrocarbon reserves.  This republic has 4.8 billion tons of recoverable crude oil reserves and in excess of 3 trillion cubic meters of natural gas.  Kazakhstan’s substantial resources enable Integra to both intensify its operations in Kazakhstan and to strengthen its positions in the oil and gas market of Kazakhstan.  Today Integra subsidiaries Azimuth Energy Services and Geostan successfully operate in Kazakhstan.  Both companies proved to be strong and reliable partners that employ latest technologies, modern equipment and highly skilled personnel. The companies successfully cooperate with Karachaganak Petroleum Operating, Caspi Oil Gas Ltd., Lancaster Petroleum Ltd and other Kazakh companies.

Integra subsidiaries VNIIBT-Burovoy Instrument, Uralmash-burovoye oborudovaniye, Stromneftemash and Integra-MashServis were also represented at the booth.  Both visitors and participants of the exhibition were particularly interested in the products offered by VNIIBT-Burovoy Instrument as well as in Uralmash spare parts and units of drilling rigs operating in Kazakhstan.

Several productive meetings with representatives of KazMunaiGas, Burgylau, KazMunaiTeniz were held to discuss the upgrade of the drilling machinery that was in operation in Kazakhstan.

A conference was held within the framework of the exhibition, and V.V. Bessel, Vice President of Integra in charge of sales, made his presentation entitled “Advanced Solutions in the Oil Service Sector of Kazakhstan” as part of the conference.

Integra’s exhibition booth won the first prize as The Best Representation of the Corporate Style.
